Leased vehicles never need to be detailed. That’s a common misconception. It really depends on the vehicle and how it’s taken care of. Read over your lease carefully before turning in your car. Most leases allow for what’s called "reasonable" wear and tear when the lease ends-so it’s really subject to interpretation and what your dealer deems reasonable. Most people have found that a few dollars invested in detailing the vehicle prior to the lease turn in will save money in the end.
