Applauded for their continuing efforts as leaders in the car care industry, the following were recognized for their commitment and dedication this past year on Thursday, April 25, at the Annual Business Meeting and Opening Luncheon.

One of the highest awards that the ICA can bestow, Bud Belanger, Belanger, Inc., Northville, Mich.,received the Car Wash Hall of Fame honors for demonstrating outstanding ability and dedication to the car care industry and the ICA. David Belanger accepted the award on behalf of his father, Bud.

Mac McElroy, Proto Vest, Inc.,Glendale, Ariz., also received the prestigious Car Wash Hall of Fame honor.

 

Industry Leadership
Award
Bob Gavlick & Sherman
West

Providing a continuum of leadership to the car care industry, Bob Gavlick, retired from Exxon Mobil Corporation, Fairfax, Va., and Sherman West, A1 Door & Heating Systems, Joliet, Ill., were awarded Industry Leadership Awards. Keith Knockheart accepted the award on Gavlick's behalf.

Lisa Lyons
Lisa Lyons; TRLC, Inc., San Diego, Calif., demonstrated that she made a difference in her community and was awarded the Community Leadership Award. Coy Lindblom accepted the award on her behalf.

When it comes to showing leadershipo support to the ICA, Dick Hollingshead, Hollingshead Industries; Sacramento, Calif., proved he was worthy of winning the Association Leadership Award.

Kevin Hart, Professional Carwash & Detailing, awards the Most Valuable Carwasher to Casey Bowmaster, Champion Carwash. Accepting on his behalf was the owner of Champion Carwash

Toyota Camry
